Crafts and Activities for KIDS

Good Touch and Bad touch is the most sensitive and one of the most important topic for kids education. Kids need to be taught about this at an early age so that they can protect themselves and keep them safe. This is very difficult topic for kids to teach, therefore one needs to teach them in an interactive and interesting way. This is important because they need understand what is good for them and what is not. They need to learn when to say NO to somebody and when to INFORM their close ones if they do not feel safe anytime or around anyone. They can understand this by the concept of SAFE CIRCLE. Teach them who comes in their safe circle and around whom the kids feel comfortable and safe. Kids love Honey bees and painting. This is a very easy painting for kids using different techniques for making the tree, the honey bee comb and the honey bees.  For making this painting we just need below items: 1. Drawing sheet  2. Paints - Brown, Yellow and Green 3. Paint Brush 4. Cotton Ear buds 5. Bubble Wrap  6. Scissors 7. Black Marker You can check the video also for complete instructions.  Step 1 : Draw and paint the tree on a white sheet. Step 2 : make a bunch of some ear buds using a rubber band. Dip them in green colour and dab around the tree branch to make the leaves. Step 3 : Paint the bubble wrap with yellow colour and cut out in oval shape once it dries. Step 4 : Paste the bubble wrap on the tree branch using fevicol.  Step 5: Use finger painting to make some honey bees using yellow colour. Make some on a spare sheet also which can later be cut and sticked on the honey bee comb.  Step 6: Using b

We all have a lot of empty glass jars at home which can be converted into beautiful lamps. This is an easy craft idea which you can do with your kids and they can design their jar using their favourite character which can be a princess or a superhero. For this activity you will need the following items : 1. Empty Jar 2. White/Yellow Paint 3. Black silhouette print out of your favourite character 4. Scissors 5. Fevicol 6. Tooth Brush Step 1 : Paint the jar using a tooth brush and white or yellow colour paint. Step 2 : Cut out the silhouette figures from the print out and once the paint is dry, stick these on the jar. And your designed jar is ready. You can put a string light or a candle in the jar to make it shine. Try our many other designs. Paper Plate crafts are easy to make and are loved by kids. For making a paper plate Crab, We need following items:  1. White Paper Plate  2. Red Paint 3. Red Color Sheet  4. Googly Eyes 5. Scissors 6. Fevicol/Cello Tape We used a medium size paper plate for this. Step 1 : Cut the paper plate in half. Step 2 : Paint one half with red color. Step 3 : Draw two claws for Crab on red color Sheet. Step 4 : Cut out 8 large and 2 small strips also for legs and eyes respectively. Step 5 : Paste all these on the back side. Paper Plate crafts are easy to make and are loved by kids as they come out to be so beautiful and attractive. For making a paper plate shark we only need the following supply: 1. White Paper Plate  2. Blue and Red Paper 3. Blue paint  4. Googly Eyes 5. Fevicol and Cellotape 6. Scissors We used a medium size paper plate. Step 1 : Paint half of the back side of the paper plate with blue color.                                           Step 2 : Cut out Shark's teeth from the red sheet and stick on the centre of the white part. Step 3 : cut out three triangles from the blue paper for Shark's fins and tail and stick on the back side of the plate. You can make a Jelly fish with paper plate using minimal supplies.  Things you will need: 1. White paper Plate  2. Pink Paint 3. Pink Ribbon 4. Cello Tape/Fevicol 5. Scissors 6. Googly Eyes Use a medium size paper plate for this.  Step 1 : Cut the plate in half. Step 2 : Paint one half with pink color on the back side.  Step 3 : Paste this half on top of the other half using either fevicol or cello tape. Step 4 : Cut the ribbon in 8-10 small pieces.   Step 5 : Paste the ribbon on the inner side of the plates using cello tape or fevicol.
